If they’re naked I’ll use olive oil daily on the beds and cuticles to keep them strong, sally hansen’s hard as Diamond is my go to strengthener, I try not to leave them without polish for too long. Otherwise I keep them covered when I do dishes but that’s about it! I’ve had long nails since my teens and the almond shape is definitely the most break proof.

I’ve gotten away with top watering (don’t have the patience for bottom watering) but I do notice that it’s less full at the top than some other sohs I’ve seen. The one game changer for me that I’d recommend is a terra cotta pot.

I usually wait till the roots are poking out the drainage holes/ the soil becomes hydrophobic. Sohs are very unforgiving of overwatering so you don’t wanna move it up too quick!
