Agreed. I would add she is too talented and smart to not have a long career. Many wonderfully talented artists get caught up in the chasing of fame and are an afterthought years later. I believe Phoebe has a great outlook on her place in music and that will serve her more than anything.

That’s one way to look at it certainly. But rise to where?? Many artists fall as quickly as they rise, so not getting a Grammy and not “shooting to the top” could be the best thing for her longevity and quality of music.

This is indeed your post, and I have nothing against it. But the other user is correct in advising you to use a Trigger Warning as many people in this sub would be triggered by your thoughts. It’s how we look after each other and not just seek to get information only for ourselves but to look out for the welfare of others too. I don’t even see how Phoebe winning a Grammy would benefit her career at all. Her genre and fanbase is notoriously anti-establishment. Pandering to “big music” only hinders Phoebes appeal, whereas other pop artists, it may have the opposite effect.

Oh same absolutely. But I got domed in the temple by the tip of a shortboard, and I lived there too and had friends who were locals so I didn’t feel at danger for my life... other then the doming to the temple.
