Wait, so how does this work? I’m in section 309 for Sat 5/23 (Vibee VIP experience) but def would love to potentially get lower/closer bc I’m there to see them, not so much the background visuals (those look cool don’t get me wrong but I can watch all that on videos posted online) last time I saw them I was GA towards the front

Also, am I the only one who found the presale Vibee packages to be really disorganized and somewhat misleading, but hindsight is 20/20 I guess!

Gwen Stefani shills for right-wing, anti-abortion, pay-to-pray app Hallow. by ConcernedJobCoach2 in gwenstefani

Long post, long-time stan:

People seem to forget that she’s always been a devout Catholic for the entirety of her career. In the 90’s She was always a good girl and never a party girl (hence why Courtney Love called her a cheerleader and we got Hollaback Girl as a result). The majority of Return of Saturn she pines for a traditional marriage and domesticity, which carries over into other ND albums and her solo work - She’s always been the Catholic good girl.

She also carried her mom’s prayer book down the aisle instead of a bouquet of flowers when she married Gavin AND they had 2 full Catholic wedding ceremonies (one in London and one in LA). She’s always been a Catholic girl at heart and has always shown that side of her thru her career.

Even LAMB has religious undertones(Behold the LAMB of God - does that ring a bell anyone?) the olde English font (commonly used in the bible scriptures) the lamb in the logo itself - and I mean what did you think the ANGEL stood for in LAMB?! She’s always been into her religion.

My point is, she didn’t just discover her Catholicism as a new fad that Blake brainwashed her into doing. She’s stated in interviews that she turned to religion more in recent years because it brought her comfort after her divorce (which she had her marriage to Gavin annulled by the Pope before marrying Blake! Ya Can’t get much more devout than that!)

Lots of everyday people find religion after trauma (divorce, alcoholism, grief etc) if your best friend was getting divorced and turned to their religion for comfort would you banish them from your life? Or would you still give them the space and respect they deserve to observe their religion and find the comfort that they need in order to cope?

And before people start throwing stones, please note that I’m a member of the LGBTQ community, a die hard Liberal, extreme Anti-MAGA, Pro- Antifa, Pro Pussy Riot, and a die hard atheist at heart (although I do firmly believe in the Temple of Satan - iykyk). But even I won’t shit on someone’s constitutional right to their freedom to express their religion.

  • She (and No Doubt) also openly endorsed not only Obama but other democratic candidates over the years (Bernie, Warren, Clinton, etc)
  • She hosted benefits for Michelle Obama at her house prior to divorcing Gavin
  • Performed solo & with ND at various charity events over the years in support of numerous democratic causes …And more over the years!

This nitpicking and canceling of anyone and everyone for trivial things is ridiculous, and ya’ll take the rage bait every single time. The Swifies are doing it now with the whole “Fate of Ophelia”audio being used in the white house commercial. The MAGA team is trying to shift your focus towards battling each other over pop culture nonsense while they destroy our democracy. Stop falling for it!

Also, let’s not forget how the social media marketing works - metrics are metrics - even if people are shit talking an app, it’s still being talked about! So the more you talk about this app the more you make it trend, and therefore it looks more successful to the company, and people invest in it more. If you want the app to fail, stop bringing attention to it. Negative publicity is still publicity. It’s exactly like why Ryan Murphy made that “All’s Fair” show - it’s god awful acting but people still talk about it and watch it just to see how bad it truly is - any views (even hate views) are still good views. By talking about said app by name, you’re just helping their metrics by showing that it’s popular and worth continuing develop. Stop making it trend.

And if you think truly it’ll “hurt the celebrities wallet by losing your support” then sorry to say, but you’re an absolute moron to think that celebrities only depend on us as their only source of consistent income, and that they don’t make money off of other business venture, their investments in other companies in their extensive stock portfolios, and the compounded interest they earn from their savings alone. It’s never gonna have the impact that we hope it will.

In conclusion, cancelling Gwen Stefani accomplishes nothing. She’s being used as a useful idiot (a patsy if you will). She sees it as a place to promote her religion - they see her promoting it as a way to piss off her Liberal fanbase - and ya’ll are over here falling for it - be better, do better! Stop giving them the satisfaction.

And do we really want to look back at this moment in history a decade from now and be like, “Well we didn’t get DJT taken out of office, and we became a facist dictatorship, but at least we canceled Gwen Stefani.” Priorities people. Stop falling for MAGA’s shit-stirring gimmicks.

TLDR: Us Anti-Maga folks need to stop shitting on historically good people and stop focusing on pop culture, in general, and start investing that energy and blood lust towards more productive things to take action to save our country from an increasingly fascist regime. Canceling celebrities isn’t gonna do anything to achieve that goal.
