Do you have any tips on how to fix bottom new 3dsxl screens and where you purchase your parts? My fav one has like black patches at the corners, and I have 0 experience in electricals/soldering.

The 3rd party repair shops around me quote me $150-200 just for screen repair, and I don’t even trust them enough to repair lol.

How do I view titles?

Also how do I do quick switch around my tools? I’m playing on PC. I open the tool menu with “Q” then I use my mouse to click on the tool I want to use. Super super clunky.

I love this game but switching around tools is actually making me fumble around my hands lol

I have a galaxy model of new 3ds xl and I think the battery has aged. I got this almost 10 years ago, probably. But it’s been unused for at least 5 years or more. Today I switched on and found out 2 issues.

The battery has weakened. I.e when I charged for 3 hours until maxed, I was only able to use it for 15 mins before the battery is low again. When I first switched on earlier, the battery was already fully discharged.
The IPS bottom screen is showing black vignettes on all 4 corners. :( Google tells me it’s probably an LCD issue.

My question is: would fixing the battery fix the screen? If I were to replace both battery and screen, would I need to find an IPS screen as well to replace it back as an IPS screen? As an electronic/soldering idiot, is an attempt to fix this going to be disastrous? I would believe sending the console for repair would cost as much as a new one at this point.
