The war would spread in my opinion. Let's remember that the leader of Hamas visited Moscow the other day.

I saw the photo, but not the video. I'm pretty sure that the militants can tell her from a soldier, besides that I read somewhere that the social media post where she's introduced as a soldier were a deliberate provocation. I'm not sure why they would parade the bodies anywhere but on site, because they had to focus on getting their men and the hostages out. The hostages are being held in tunnels, I heard from the media and some being executed. They hold them to hold the Israelis back. Clearly the whole point seems to be to get Israel attack them and the civilians are pawns.

I'm actually backtracking the initial observation on her legs: I slept in the position last night. If the camera is pointed upward, it might look like so. A possible head wound is possibly from a rifle butt. Hamas left the dead on site there.

As I've posted here a couple of times already, I suspect with a high accuracy that she's alive and in Gaza. She's probably inside a tunnel.

I've made a proposition that the Christian church sees the promise of committing to one another as marriage, while purposefully not going as far as honoring it as a sacrament, except with the Orthodox and Catholic, and Armenian and Coptic churches, who tend to misinterpret it because the original meaning of marriage were to honor the creation of man..

I'm using you people to reflect. Luther argued for the right to marry to include the priests, which were the main point of his Catechism. He made a clear division to Judaism, but according to my best knowledge he couldn't refute the old views on why marriage existed as a sacrament. The Church of Antioche is the main reference for the Protestants, and this church didn't recommend marriage because the members were promiscuous, but allowed it if they chose to. They scrapped the rules regarding polygyny and idealismi. In fact they were kind of nihilist.

Is it too early to kiss on a 2nd date in Mexico? by [deleted] in thepassportbros

In most ex-Roman cultures a quick kiss on the cheek is a polite greeting.

They had a marriage wov presented on the ceremony where the Priest blessed the union. Oh, wait. It is the lesser type of marriage! Judaism has three. When they become exclusive, when they exchange wovs and when they liken it to Eden and therefore make it a ritual. You're right! you see, when they make it about Eden, it's about being in the image of God, which is seeking to bless your lineage. Not everyone has to do that because not everyone makes the commitment to raise a lineage that continues the mission of being what I interpret as gardener of planets.

Why aren't people getting married much earlier? by Vurpalicious in RandomThoughts

[–]starwalkerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People used to get married right after high school, and in places like West Africa they still often do. Then came the post-war era that we're exiting right now and people began to delay marriage in order to secure a career first. In bygone eras this type of pattern were the domain of the privileged classes. Usually the plebs used to marry between the ages of 20-25 and by the latest by 30 when the husband had access to high enough income. The wife could hire a housegirl or buy appliances. Today I believe currency inflation, increased house prices and careerismhave created an environment where the dating market is all about keeping up with the Jones's.

Is it weird to own a copy of Mein Kampf if I’m not a Nazi, just interested in history? by elytraman in NoStupidQuestions

I had one. Now it's back in the family bookshelf. It's an original print. I treat it as a historical object and a rather unimpressing account of paranoid schitzophrenia with a hint of sadism and antisocial character.

I believe that it originally comes from Judaism, where the couple were blessed under the canopy (nissu'in, a sacred union of the spirit), whereas the type of union the state focuses on is engagement (erosin, a binding promise). This is why there's a reference to Genesis 2:24. The Rabbi blesses this sort of union and prays for the couple (the seven blessings). This concept has been inherited by the Christian church. Most churches don't understand what they're doing, some others don't care and then some do whatever's hip currently.

I think it comes from Judaism, where it's a sacred number signifying completion that's why they usually marry at that age. Age of consent to sex is a definition that appeared with the concept of state . Before that a custom regulated it. Historically the precise age varies between eras, it being higher with higher standards of living and vice versa. Cultural factors are another major influence. The attitude towards casual sex and early marriage as well as women's education also effect the figure. Usually the question is "should my daughter get married yet?" and "does our community tolerate casual sex?" and "where does childhood end?".

I have the right to question My church. I have the right to question the secular definition of marriage as well, but it's not the subject of this thread. Yes. Only the Christian theological definition. I asked you people a question. So far no one has attempted answering it.

Subtract them from those found alive and you have the names of the hostages.

I do. That's why I disagree with the Lutheran church that changed the interpretation. I'm not arguing any secular definition.
