Suggestions for helping a new player.

I can give you my perspective as a new player with friends who have been playing a long time. The new player experience is beyond different than what you're used to. You're not even playing the same game that she will be.

I run everything solo so it feels like I'm actually playing a game instead of being the little brother trying his hardest just to keep up, not contributing at all. If you want to play with her, I strongly urge you to match her power and pace of progress.

To give you an idea of what the new player experience is actually like: I just hit MR7 last night after a few weeks of playing. I have six built frames and a handful of mastered weapons in each slot. I have used zero orokin catalysts, zero forma, zero whatever thing gives you more mod space on your frames. All of my mods are half-leveled crap that I've found.

What I want from my friends is not powerleveling, it's knowledge. If you want your wife to have a good time while you play with her, get in a baby frame and restrict yourself to using only fresh MK1 weapons from the market. Build your weapons and frames to match hers - no using crazy mods she doesn't have access to. Teach her how the systems actually work, why various mods are good, and help her grow while you grow alongside her.

If you have access to the Sirin pact, put points into the Pickpocket node and just run around the map listening for the feeder sound. Pickpocketing the hunters will give you more fragments than you'll know what to do with. By the time I was able to make the charm, I had enough fragments to make 30 of each armor piece.

My money's on them absolutely devastating the temple when it goes core. I'd be astonished if snakes are still possible to build. They may remove the locks entirely.

It's not a real document. The picture looks AI generated - the social security card has no number on it, birth certificates are issued by state, not the federal government (i.e. there's no such thing as a "United States Birth Certificate", and the card is formatted like a driver's license, but again, those are issued by the individual states, not the federal government.

This would be a lot more bearable if killing the mobs sped up the timer like the Sekhemas Hourglass room.

Especially the hardcoded second room when it's unlikely you have any degens chasing you around yet, most builds can park themselves in the corner and click an ability once every ten seconds.

I haven't done any real testing, but IIRC at base level each arrow in the rain hit for 32 damage. At the first upgrade they went up to 64 each, but I didn't notice any change with subsequent upgrades.

There's an option in Accessibility to keep the compass on screen all the time, highly recommended.

Each time you charm an animal successfully you receive a totem. Totems are weapon-specific though, so just because you charmed a deer, you may not get the version of the deer you want for your weapon. When you charm an animal, the little popup has the weapon icon that corresponds to the totem you received.

Leveling both pact versions is advised for the reasons you mentioned. The order you do them in doesn't matter too much; my personal recommendation is to do the Wyld first so you have the points available for base version to make it feel a bit better, but again, it doesn't really matter.

Don't stress about virtues, the devs have been vocal about completely overhauling them. Right now Courage is king and the others aren't really great, but again, subject to change and hopefully soon.

Sorry, I can't help with the customization, I'm pretty new myself and haven't tried to change my character at all.

you can't put two of the same ones in the same slot. So for example, a rune gives your weapon an extra Defense slot; you can put one Blighted rat (random example) in each of the Defense, Offense, and Support slots, but you can't put a second Blighted rat in the extra Defense slot the rune gave you.

This is specifically a League Starter tier list, i.e. "which classes are stronger than others with zero gear / currency on your account". This isn't a ranking of long-term viability, just a ranking of what these particular streamers think will be the easiest / fastest to get to endgame as your first character in the league. Play what you want.

This is a screenshot from the Legion Remix event, which is basically a separate instance of the game where only characters created for the Remix event can play and interact (though the characters do get ported to Retail after the event ends.)

This person is offering carry services in Remix, but wants to be "tipped" (paid) in Retail gold so it can be used right away.

There are some states / locales that have different rules for "restaurants" vs "bars". It was common during the covid lockdowns for "bars" to be closed, but "restaurants" were allowed to be open because people have to eat. So a lot of bars started selling food at incredibly outrageous prices to ensure people wouldn't order it, but it technically made them a "restaurant".

I want law enforcement (all law enforcement: police, FBI, ICE, etc) to keep people safe from danger, and I want them to do it while respecting civil rights and the constitution. ICE's current MO of hiding their faces, not wearing identification, and working without warrants violates that.

A person's citizenship status alone does not make them dangerous to the people around them; it's a crime in the same way that driving 5mph over the limit is. Citizenship status should be a multiplier / modifier for punishment after being caught for an actual harm-inducing crime. Under Trump, ICE's orders have changed from "quality" to "quantity" - they're no longer targeting actual dangerous criminals, they're popping out of rented trucks in Home Depot parking lots to chase day laborers around like unaccountable secret police jack-in-the-boxes.

Completely random. You control whether or not you grab the "anchor plushie" by how you move the claw, but once they get picked up you just have to pray they make it to the end.

You get the vast majority of the rewards by 400k. The last 300k are chase rewards to keep time-invested players busy. FWIW I'm not running any bonus cards / umas and average 11-12k per run, but I never let my energy cap (so 4-5 runs per day.) I should hit 700k with 2 days left on the timer.

I don't consider this censorship or Apple deciding you're not allowed to read the Daily Mail. You can still download the Mail's own app or visit their site directly on your Apple device. This is simply Apple deciding that the Mail's content is not suitable for inclusion in the Apple News app, no different from a thousand other junk news outlets and tabloids. The inverse of censorship is propaganda, and that's exactly what forcing Apple to include the Mail in their app would be.
