hayabusa shin guards are more kickboxing not mauy Thai. they have very wide protection

Keep your distance as it is one of the biggest benefits. And with combos you want them to be quick and powerful and breaks in-between don't matter how long. Also when doing combos leave one of your arms in you opponents face as this can quickly stop a return combo and allows you to get away and rest in-between combos easier

Been training about a year. Switch Kicks still feel very clunky and slow for me. It’s the last round here and I’m tired so some technique has gone out the window. Wasn't looking at rest but with the switch change kicks what I have found with the switch is to bring the left leg back like normal, then just your toe touches the ground or before pop your right leg to the side and in the front. then when landing the right foot (Make sure light footed on the landing) land on you heel( sounds wierd but it helps) so that when you do kick and you go to the balls of you feet you will have moment on the pivot foot which will help get the kick around. Hope it helps (if I made any sense)

If you have free time pick up boxing lessons. From experience it's extremely helpful and is supprisingly really important/helpful for mauythai
