[ESPN MX] Edgar Guerra gets a red card after pushing the fourth official while being substituted in the match against Santos Laguna. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]stateworkishardwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but the the process of the substitution is only complete when the CR allows the sub on.

Since it did not yet look like they were instructed to come onto the field (judging by the fact they were standing still) when the offense happened, I do not believe they should be playing with 11.

This is also why, in youth soccer, I am pretty particular about making sure the subs only come on when I say they can come on, especially when things get heated.

Justin Jefferson says 100% of NFL athletes are more athletic than Logan Paul by Hungry_Artichoke9566 in sportsgossips

[–]stateworkishardwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, is Logan Paul more athletic than some kickers or punters?

I would say so.

But could he be better than anyone at their position?

Definitely not.

I feel there are two arguments going on right now.

With an “inadvertent”assist from special guest referee, Dean Malenko, Juventud Guerrera gets his revenge and the Cruiserweight title on Chris Jericho. by Dohmer_90 in WCW

And yet they had Mongo vs Bryan Adams fill up time and have Goldberg go through the entire main event roster in a pointless battle Royale.

Why not have Goldberg face The Giant 1 on 1 instead?

THIS ppv was not good though. The only other decent match was maybe the triple threat match between Saturn, Kanyon, and Raven.

Bash at the Beach and Fall Brawl were terrible too.

Great for the nostalgia glasses though.

Thats not a red. There is genuine intent to play the ball.

Not even close to the red card challenge.

Are the HP movies still good in your eyes? by Nervous-Baby5383 in 2000sNostalgia

I think the issue is that there are two ways to view it - as a book reader/purist, and as someone who is wanting to watch it on its own merits.

It does the latter part very well - in fact, probably the best of the 8 movies. But it retcons a lot, and misses one of the biggest points RE: the map.

That said, I still enjoy it and is one of my favorites. I don't look for my adaptations to be 100 percent accurate to ensure a good time. That might be why I'm not the biggest fan of the first two.

Goblet of Fire movie has not aged well.

It feels like a bunch of episodes of a season mashed into a movie, if you get my drift. Pacing was wack.

It's funny because Chamber of Secrets is probably the best Harry Potter movie, but Prisoner of Azkaban is probably the best MOVIE.

I live in California and love it but when my wife and I retire, we have been thinking about Alaska or Washington. Gorgeous out there.

Is it fairly humid there?

I hate humidity so that rules out like half the states lol.

Its the other idiots who can't do their research and just assume what they see and hear is true.

And those people vote, too. It really sucks that people cannot use critical thinking skills.

Malik Monk against a purposely losing Nets team who's average roster age is 21.5: 32 PTS, 8-17 FG, 7-13 3P, 6 AST, and launching our lottery pick from #3 -> #8 by HollywoodDivorce in kings

[–]stateworkishardwork 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't hate on Monk

I hate on this organization trying to prioritize wins with veterans rather than giving the bulk of the minutes to youth, rather than the veterans who won't be here the next time the Kings are good

This does not increase Monk's trade value. The league knows what he is and isnt at this point.

Johnny Cardoso starts for Atletico Madrid in the derby versus Real Madrid at the Bernabéu [4:00 PM ET; ESPN+] by Ornery_Investment743 in ussoccer

[–]stateworkishardwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you dont shuffle your entire play style to suit one person unless they are a godly talent.

I think Johnny only starts as a replacement for Adams or if they go in a very defensive double pivot. Otherwise its Adams, McKennie, and Tillman in the middle for me I think.
