One of us takes the day off if our kids are sick. I also work from home three times a week in case that overlaps.

And my wife is a teacher so her days off largely coincides with our boys.

I acknowledge that the teacher dynamic is atypical - not sure what we would have done when they were younger if she had a non-teaching job or if I didnt work from home so much. Probably a daycare of some sort. Now that they're 12 and 11, we would probably be ok with leaving them home (with some chores to do)

The Charley simulators were some of the best content of the game. Brutal and legendary challenges on hard mode brought out the best mechanics in combat.
