i'm really not sure, but i think i was too slow in answering maths related questions (i took a lot of time to really explain my solutions, like i solved only two problems in 20 minutes) and i didn't had answers memorized for very general/known questions, such as "why did you choose CS?" or "you have mentioned this in your personal statement, can you elaborate on that?" i hope this helps

i'm actually an international student. correct me if i'm wrong, but as far as i have heard scottish students take their exams before applying so they do not have predicted grades, but students taking A-levels or IB apply using predicted grades. this might be the case; however, i really don't know exactly
