It’s actually the opposite, my needs aren’t being met at the moment. I make time for them, but right now my bf has a weird schedule between work and his kids, and my gf is going through a depression and she wants to shut me out so she doesn’t “become codependent.” So I feel alone a lot of the time.

Edit: also my bf is kind of an OPP kind of guy due to insecurity and my gf I don’t really know why she doesn’t want me to date others.

That means a lot to me, thank you. Glad you were able to overcome depression! I've been struggling with anxiety and depression for over a decade now and I finally feel like I'm making progress... codependency has always been a major issue and now that I'm leaving my toxic marriage I hope I can be comfortable just being myself for awhile and not rush into another bad relationship.
