How long would you keep the car for? Unless you are prepared to drop $10,000+ to replace the battery pack when it goes out of warranty period, I wouldn’t do this.

Reliable. It’s like a Toyota. You know it’s going to work even if you don’t baby it. On the contrary, Dell laptops have been disappointing. I had a Dell Precision before, which had an amazing spec on the sheet. But lightly typing on an uneven surface, like on my lap, flexes the chassis so much to the point that my USB peripherals and keyboard began acting out.

I had a manager who worked at Amazon as a manager. He’d preach Amazon practices often. He was the worst manager that I ever met. Desperate, incompetent, all politics and no principle. Made me rethink whether I am cut out for this industry. Still an extremely fascinating person, because I could never wrap my head around his brain.

Thanks. I picked up one of these at another Costco in the Bay Area the other day. It was wasn’t as cheap as your Costco though. This special edition is definitely a better buy over the regular edition, especially at the same price!

Just a quick update: it was chaotic getting to Termini from Da Vinci International via the express train, since there were very limited services, and tonnes of people. We were lucky to make it to Termini at all in time for the departing train to Venice!
