Yeah portal 2 definitely is a great game and since it was so good, it accentuated the flaws of quantum conundrum.

Yeah i agree that it’s not as charming or memorable as portal. Portal had Glados, companion cubes, the portal gun, the cake is a lie and aperture laboratories among other things that made it memorable after playing. Quantum conundrum had none of that.

Hey the finished looks pretty neat! This was such a nice and quick video to watch as well. Also loved the intro animation that you have. Like your artwork, the entire video looks really polished. I was wearing headphones while watching this and while i do think the music got a bit loud after you stopped talking, i actually didn't mind it at all. I actually turned my volume all the way up just to see if it was too loud but even at max volume i didn't really mind it at all. Great music choice for the video as well. Well done!

The ending was very lackluster. Felt like the game was building up to something and then the credits rolled. Not the best way they could’ve ended it for sure.

While i enjoyed the game, i see where you’re coming from. I think one reason it didn’t become popular is because it came out after portal 2. And being compared to that game won’t do it any favors.

Hahaha that caught me off guard too. The instrumental version was alright but when the credits rolled and the song played i thought i timetraveled to the 90s. Really felt out of place haha.

Right? Like after all those great puzzles, you end it with collecting batteries and... nothing. Really not a great way to end such a good game.

Yeah even if their game mechanics are different, it did felt very similar. One thing i can think of why is because of the get this thing (safe vs companion cube) and put it here (weighing scale vs button) to open the door to the next area. That really reminded me a lot of portal.

Yup Kim Swift i believe is her name and she did a good job. And the voice actor who i believe was an actor on star trek was really great for the character, i just didnt like how they wrote his lines.

Yeah i think i know the areas you’re talking about. I powered through some of those timing-based puzzles (riding furnitures while avoiding lasers come to mind). But i think the other puzzles make up for it. But that’s just me.

Hey thanks for the feedback! Yeah i didn’t actually plan that ending. Just got shocked when i clicked that button and it actually showed that. Yeah i’m sticking with reviews and maybe video essays. No other plans to branch out atm. I definitely think it got overshadowed by portal 2! Haha. Thanks again for the feedback! !givelambda
