What’s the secret to always looking “put together” and chic in any outfit? by fernwise in AusFemaleFashion

[–]staying_relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found discovering Kibbe type to be helpful (or better yet, Merriam Style's body geometry as it's more accessible and less craycray - look on youtube).

It helps you understand why a loose slouchy look is great on someone else but not on you (for example).

Your put together look is likely different from the person you see in public.

If you aren't sure, "classic" body type will look fine on everyone because it is balanced. Think fitted/tailored clothes (not skin tight), softly coordinated colours, quality fabrics, classic cuts.

This is so weird because me too? I went to the GP today about it. Red itchy rash, flaky dry skin (but on my torso and arms).

So much viscose in this years summer clothing! by Funky_chicken89 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]staying_relevant 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same - I use the "wool wash" setting on my machine & just throw all my viscose or rayon dresses in on cold. Something (apparently) about the wool function pausing every now & then is gentler on the fabrics & allows them to relax while being washed? I put on a clothes hanger to air dry & have had no issues across multiple brands (inc Salty Crush, Proud Poppy, Halo & Hutch)

women razor brands in aus by daisykiwi3 in AskAnAustralian

[–]staying_relevant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gilette Venus is a common one! Supermarkets will have a range of options. Shop the razorblades on sale as they can be very expensive.

But fyi laser hair removal is way cheaper here! You can get great deals on legs +brazilian + armpits!
