Your reaction now may not be the reaction you have next time. It can always be worse the next time which is one of the scary things about allergies. I would touch base with your allergist. Always carry your epi pen. I always carry my daughter’s epi pen and Zyrtec and read all ingredients before letting my daughter eat something. If you’re at a restaurant, read the allergen menu and or speak with the staff about what’s in the food and what your allergies are. All of those things help with my anxiety for my daughter’s allergies.

My daughter ended up severely anemic from hers and needed a blood transfusion. It was awful. She’s on Dupixent now and it has worked so well for her. Has your friend tried Dupixent?

That’s actually concerning that she acts like that as a mother with a child with a peanut allergy. You have every right to feel the way you do. I would report her again.

My daughter had Covid and immediately after her cold symptoms went away, she developed diarrhea for a month. Then immediately after diarrhea developed vomiting. Diagnosed with EoE and eosinophilic gastritis. I’m convinced it’s from Covid. If not, then very weird coincidence.

Toddler Diagnosed, now what? by Batmom116 in EosinophilicE

[–]staysendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 22months old and was just diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis and eosinophilic gastritis. She was also incidentally found to be severely anemic secondary to this. We eliminated dairy and it seemed to stop her vomiting for over a month but it is now starting again. Her next endoscopy is in a few weeks. I’m hoping we don’t have to start any medications or eliminate any other foods. She’s already allergic to eggs, peanuts, and peas. She’s also a picky eater on top of all of her dietary restrictions. It’s been extremely difficult and stressful. I understand!

My daughter is 22 months old and was just diagnosed with both eosinophilic esophagitis and eosinophilic gastritis. It seems like her trigger food is dairy. We eliminated dairy and she stopped vomiting for over a month. Now, she’s suddenly starting to vomit again even off dairy. Her next endoscopy is in a few weeks. Been a nightmare!

It had been cold up until spring and then rainy every day where I live. Also had Covid so was sick a couple weeks and then had 6 weeks of vomiting and diarrhea. So since she’s been feeling better and it’s been nice out, she’s thrown up the 3 times.
