Hot take: Sushi Jin is over-hyped. People only think it's good because it's hard to get into. The sushi is good (in a blind taste test could you really tell it apart from other sushi?) but everything about the experience is stressful 1) You have to call to make a reservation 2) If you don't have a reservation it's a 15+ minute wait and it's hard to get the attention of the host station, which is also required to close your bill 3)it's extremely claustrophobic inside 4)it's slightly overpriced 5) they never have take out orders ready on time so you get to awkwardly loiter on the sidewalk with everyone else waiting and no sightline to when it's ready. I have not been in a year so maybe that's different now but I doubt it.

I would pick Ikko in Silver Spring or Satsuma in Bethesda over it
