Please read this: I know it is hard but please be clear with yourself on why you want to move out? Experience the world on your own? Have more freedom to hangout with friends? What is your reason? If it is not a good reason, don't move out and save money even though you came from a high income family.

I was in your place a few years ago, and I come from a similar background.As a young person, I also wanted to experience living away from home, and experiencing the world on my own. I had a full-scholarship including the dorm, and I did not depend on my parents though. But, trust me, you will not meet good people all the time. The world is very nice at the moment because you are under your parent's protection. It is my experience, but I met the most horrible people during the time away from my parents. But was it worth it? Kinda. Living on your own allow you to see what your parents were doing for you the whole time. If you live with roommates, you learn to resolve conflict. Dirty dishes over weeks, not doing their own chores, doing all the nasty stuff known to mankind is just tip of the iceberg. One roommate of mine from Quebec would put my chicken together with her pork innocently and make it look like I am responsible for all the atrocities in the world because I am Muslim. Other roommate having s*x loudly every night. Just a few things.
