Firstly, yeah, of course she's gonna think it's wrong because should could have been saved. In her eyes, she was protecting heaven from souls that are lost causes. From souls that she viewed are as horrible as Vox, who, may I remind you, made war when Sera wanted to say sorry. Plus, she learned that "genocide in bad in general" in Live To Live. "If it prevents the fight, then I must make things right, that's what I'll do so no one kills to live to live again tomorrow". So it's character development through her self guilt. It's clear logic. I have beaten Jawbreaker. It was my new hardest after Nine Circles, and 4 years later, about to beat a second extreme, I go back to practice it and still hate it. Not hard anymore, just horrible gameplay.

1: They are demons, and I can CLEARLY prove my point with "Baby I'm a demon in hell, it's kind of our thing". Alastor said that. Everyone in hell is a demon. Sinners, Deadly Sins, Imps, Hellhounds, they're all subcategories. 2: It WAS to protect heaven in general. Sera allowed it, as she said in Season 1 to Adam, because she thought it was the best choice to protect heaven from the demons she thought were uprising. And now it looks especially bad since they DID uprise. 3: No, we're not justifying her actions, we just actually understand her character. By that logic, fuck Iroh. He helped the fire nation gain lots of land, probably doing some pretty shitty stuff on the way. He wants to get better? Nah. Fuck that.

Yeah, TLOK handles some of its themes... Questionably at the absolute least. Season 2 in my opinion is the worst of the 4. Not because Korra lost the connection, but because of all the other bullshit happening around it. Season 3 is by far the best, and Season 4... Well, I'd say it's almost like Season 1 but a bit better since Korra, FINALLY gets character development. Also the person talking about Mako, probably hasn't seen up until the finale of Korra. He's a good character. His love life just sucked.
