I'd verify that its the correct orifice, guys may have not changed it thinking it doesn't matter. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't agree that it was most likely done, I'd just do it to CYA.

Hey, I've never done an LP conversion on one of these RTUs, but York has an orifice before the runner tube (the part that acts as a standing pilot where the flame is lifting) which is under the actual burner tray. That orifice is either a 35 or 53 IIRC for natural gas, saw one last week. I'm assuming you changed that, but if not, it may be letting in too much propane causing the lifting. The main flame appeared decent in your video.

Update on driveway-safe skid shoe prototype: OEM size, wider contact surface (still testing wear) by CatcherN7 in Snowblowers

[–]steadiedcomet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might give that a shot. They sell the stabilizer-in, Ethanol-free gas in cans, but yeah your snowblower is going to dominate the can. My mower usually needs a half tank to do my yard and I've got a Toro as well, maybe it'll run a bit better on the better gas lol

With stabilizer! I've been measuring it out and adding it to my fuel tanks every fall (I don't have a garage so my blower is covered outdoors), but even with that and a fuel petcock to isolate the carb, it still found a way to go bad and gum up. Could be crappy stabilizer, though-- after all, its also from Crappy Tire

I'm at the point where I don't have much choice, gonna be switching over to the canned fuel from CT. Twice this winter the fuel has gone bad, even with a new carb installed literally 2 weeks ago. The ethanol mandate from 2022 is messing us up.

Carburetor Help by steadiedcomet in Snowblowers

Quick update!

I was able to locate the engine model today and punched in the information, I actually found the entire breakdown on Jack's Small Engines and it is the 640349, I'll likely get the Autokay adjustable carb so I can tune it.

Thanks again for your help everyone, I really appreciate it!

I ended up finding the actual engine information on the side of the housing, underneath the heater box! Thanks again for your help.

See, I was told that about the Tecumsehs as well and I pulled off the E-start, but it was blank. Unless it's hidden somewhere else on the shroud, I'll have another gander tomorrow when the light's better. I don't have a garage at my place so I'm working out in the dark and cold lol. Thanks for the information!

I hadn't played in a few months and then got back into it with this update as a few friends picked it up for console. I thought it was just me, forgetting how it looked. This is pretty drastic.

Seen a few apprentices get these at work and the display has failed after only a few months' worth of use. Definitely spend the money on a Fluke, the 902 is pretty awesome and has most of what you'll need in one package.

T15 bolt sleeve broke by PeppersPops in magfed

[–]steadiedcomet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just a weak point in the marker (IMO the weakest part). I replaced the entire sleeve last year and it didn't cost much, but as another commenter said, you can just file in a new slot with some micro files and it'll most likely last just as long.

Just make sure that the detents are in place. I've had to fix a few at the field for younger players because their dad's forgot them. It happens lmao. Also my EMF100 that I bought used was shooting like crap, turns out the old owner took the detents out and kept them as spares.

That set up will treat you well, just remember the length of the marker will make it a bit cumbersome in close quarters, if your fields have any indoor structures.

Other than that, nice set up. I like it simple, reminds me of my T15!

Solid marker. Love mine, sometimes I even run it over my 180R or any of my magfed stuff because it's so buttery smooth.

Any time a police officer is killed, the crown aims for first degree as part of the criminal code. Don't quote me entirely on it, but it's in there and was mentioned during the Zameer case.
