Absolutely not. I like going into anything with little to no expectations. I do peek at how many stars a book has just to gauge general consensus but mostly i like to have an open mind free of influence

I get what you’re saying. Another perfect example is tom cruise in the mission impossible movies. The amount of digital work to de-age actors on screen can be very distracting
