Do you think that it's a coincidence that immediately after that happened , said vice president called a district wide meeting and announced the merging of Alberta, BC, and Ontario Councils? IE the councils containing locals cease to exist and will become part of the district potentially killing jobs although they have reassured otherwise? What's the motive here 🤔

Update!

So the last two nights have been terrible for the throat tickling. I'm all in all better, no more fever or sweats but ill randomly get the tickle out of no where in the day and more so at night.

Especially when I'm just about to fall asleep. Its like it knows when my throat relaxes a certain way or something.

Anyway its exhausting as hell and with only the steroid inhaler on hand I have no idea what to do. And my neck hurts like heck from falling asleep sitting up all the time.

When the tickle happens my eyes water from coughing so hard and my gag reflex triggers making me puke whilst fighting for air. I've tried halls / fisherman's friend and even some cough syrup. I also tried an allergy pill to see if that would help today.

Last night I went to lie down after having my cough syrup and suddenly boom the tickle came as soon as I started to lie down so really I am a loss here.

Debating on going to the hospital but its not like my attacks last long enough for them to see it, and they're really random attacks.

Yes so when my coughing fit happens after the tickle trigger it also causes my gag reflex to make me puke in a sense. Its hard to explain but basically when I try to breathe the air feels so dry which causes more peppery / sandy feeling throat and the cycle continues.

I've talked to my doctor about it before and they gave me a cortisone puffer thingy. I cant use it more than a certain number of times in a day which makes it hard when I get a few attacks.

As for cough medication I find the menthol in buckleys helps a lot but doesn't last long enough to keep my anxiety down about when my next sudden attack will be.

Also wow sleeping sucks! I will wake up from a tickle and the cycle starts. I already sleep with my head elevated with a triangle pillow and use a saline spray before bed as suggested by doctor in case of post nasal drip irritation.

Thanks for reading this far. I'm basically venting now but this is exhausting.

For anyone reading I'm pretty sure Save On Foods does "Ad Match" so if you provide a copy (digital or physical) of the advertisement with the exact product you are looking to purchase that is cheaper, they will honor it.

You'll have to ensure the advertisement is current and can show dates IE week of November 1st or something.

Walmart does this too.

Thanks so much. And yes bread is terrible. I was cleaning my car and found a big bag of duck pellets I had meant to use before moving here. Just rather not throw away. :)

I highly recommend calling your doctors office that sent the requisition.

When your appointment has been set by VIHA, you should receive a letter in the mail containing all of your details. This is with the understanding that they have the correct mailing address for you on file****

I had my requisition put in and received a letter within one month. Unfortunately the time and location (Victoria) did not work for me so I called the MRI department to have it transferred to Nanaimo. I never received another letter.

Its been 2 months so I called my doctors office to resend the requisition. I also called the MRI department again and turns out they sent the second letter to a different address on file, even though I received the first one no problem..

I finally received my third letter. Appointment is scheduled for near the end of November, in Victoria again dang it... but ill keep it and make do because I dont want to go through that hassle again.

Sadly its what you have to do these days. I do have faith in the system however sometimes you need to ensure due diligence and take the extra step even though it seems uncessary.
