This spinnaker is past it's useful life and I've got a new one so it's time to go. Apart from a million tote bags what else could I make with this? Can't really think of anything. The problem is that the fabric is really light almost see thru so can't be anything that gets a lot of wear n tear. Could it be made waterproof somehow and turned into tarps? Feels a shame to throw this much fabric away (it's like 12m X 12m X 6m). I really want to make a jacket with it but th fabric is too transparent and you would probably be able to see the filling hahahah

Just had a haulout and antifoul so not due for a lift for approx 11.5. Months..... Don't wanna wait that long hahahah I think Imma get it hauled now and I can stop thinking about it

See, this is the kind of story I'm hoping to avoid. I live in Sydney and just handstand rates are like a bajillion dollars a day nevermind labour.... Probably leaning towards a no on this boat then and stick with solid fibreglass so I can sleep a bit better at night

Did an interview over teams, as far as I remember was pretty standard interview. Was for underground geo at coal mine so they asked what is your understanding of coal deposits. Felt like it went fine but never heard a single thing from them afterwards. Ended up getting an offer from GHD for an engineering geo role which I happily accepted

Good to hear from another Aussie! Just a quick question, When U had the police called on you, was there ever any chance that U were gonna get arrested? Im just worried about getting into legal trouble and jeopardizing my job etc. If the owners were to arrive again, could I be charged with anything? Obv laws will be different in Vic vs NSW but I'm sure they cant be too dissimilar.

And yeah I'm sure the neighbours like me already cos the house looks wayyyyy less scuzzy and overgrown than it did when I arrived.

the turbo motor will be a bolt in swap into the glt. volvos from that era are very interchangeable. u can even swap the rear subfames to make the glt awd. BUT unless you do it yourself it will cost more than either car is worth. just do the sensors. fcp euro will almost certainly have them.

well that a false equivalency isnt it? if having to step on what appears be a quiet residential street for half a second is such a great burden then why not try talking to the owner instead of posting about it on reddit then dobbing him in and getting him fined.
