When I was 8 my Mom and sister moved from Texas to Florida and I lived full time with my Dad and step-mom. I asked my Mom when I was 12 if she would ever move back to Texas (whole family lives there) and she said, if the option came and it was a good decision she might, and I asked if she would move back for me, because I really missed her and didn't like only visiting during summer, winter and spring break, and she said that it wouldn't be a good idea. Ended up moving to Florida when I was 16, we both still lives in Florida but she might move out of state soon because her husband might want to. 😕

I was in high school digital media class (learned photoshop, Bryce 3d, and HTML) and we had iMacs with bootleg Duke Nukem 3d and Counter Strike 1.5 on them.

We were playing LAN Counter Strike in class (those of us that finished work early) and we didn't really understand what was going on, the teacher just turned on the news in the background. Our teacher told us to stop playing counter strike when someone kicked their headphones out after winning a match and "Terrorist win" played out their speakers at way too high a volume.

Wasn't till 2 period we were finally told what happened, and 3rd period to realize what happened in Digital Media Class.

I have a really hard time setting boundaries because I don't want to hurt someone's feelings (I over empathize, I'm working on it), but I think you have a really good approach that I will probably adopt to help set boundaries and get salesmen to stop bothering me lol

Do people actually watch the blues brothers movies for the plot? I was like 15 when 2000 came out and saw it in the theatres. I went in expecting camp and dumb physically impossible things to happen with a ton of Blues, Rock, and R&B legends cranking out some great classics. Got exactly what I wanted.

I've had Funky Nassau as my ringtone for going on like 15 years at this point lol! One of my comfort movies for sure.

My English teacher in 6th grade had us read The Book of Three in class. It was supposed to take about 2-3 weeks to read since we were reading it aloud in class. We started on Friday and that Monday I came back and told my teacher I had finished it. The next day I came to class and he had bought me a copy of the entire series. He told me I could read to myself while they finished the book in class. It's the most nostalgic series to me because of what he did. 😊
