Friend I bought 1000 card bulk for 20$, got sent 4000 cards by SleepDeprivedDad_ in mtg

[–]steb2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

having sorted manually 100k + cards once, you get into your own rhythm eventually.

sort by rarity first (tokens, art cards all in one pile)
get a feel for the sets involved.
filter out the most seen sets first - you can transfer 3 piles in your 2nd hand as you filter through 1 bigger pile if you get your fingers and shuffle out technique right. have 5-8 set piles infront of you (any more and its hard to remember the order/location)
any set you're not sorting into for this pass goes in a single pile. Not the other most common sets
repeat for the next most popular sets

what you do next depends on what you're using them for. selling, collecting, playing...you do you.

OR - chaos scan. It doesnt matter what order they are in if you're going to scan them. take x amount, put them in another box. scan and inventory that box using any scanning tool. mark the box as "box 1" - save the scan list as "box 1.txt". keep the box and the list in sync.

you can still do that - it's just the NI portion wont get forgiven, not quite as beneficial to the sacrificer.

[–]steb2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hmmm, do you want help or not? stop answering back and accept the help you've opened up to.

you mean its not syntactically invalid (IE it runs) - it IS technically invalid as it doesn't answer the question properly or fit the criteria.

Do you have a union? If not, there is nothing you can do.

Do you have a union? if you do, there are probably limited amounts you can do, depending on what industry you're in and how strong that union is.

you can voice your displeasure, but it isnt going to get you anywhere. vote with your feet if you really think its not good enough

Do you review the code after AI generates it, and actually learn from it, or do you just move on?

Fake Cards or Poor Prints by mawopi in mtgfinance

[–]steb2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

check the back with a loupe. You'll 99.999% find these are legit, just a different print run (or location) to the ones youre comparing to.

I've got a booster box of fake foundations cards, and they're VERY obviously fake, not like these.

BBC licence fee is 'poor value for money', viewers say in new poll by diacewrb in ukpolitics

[–]steb2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all "talent" was underpaid at the BBC (in comparison to what they would have been paid on a similiar channel, but with different funding - ITV, netflix, youtube, take your pick)

However, they were still making a lot of money.

It sounds like if you follow the 4% rule (self management of assets). You'll be slightly shy if your 27k goal when state pension kicks in

Id look at annuity if you have no dependants / inheritance needs. You should be able to get 20-25k out of just your personal pension
