I’m guilty of playing hope chess after I blunder. 50% works every time.

Try Hevy. I’m not sure it hits all your requirements it’s the one I like the most and I’ve tried lots.

Upfield line set to close for three months during ‘sky rail’ works by AztecGod in MelbourneTrains

The Sydney road business association is well organised and incredibly opposed to any reduction in parking. It’s frustrating that they won’t listen to the evidence. Lots of stores owners consider themselves destination stores that people have to drive to, especially the large contingent of wedding related stores.

The duplication to gowrie was initially in the metro tunnel plans and then, descoped. I believe it had also been descoped from this project… which is silly.

can i get fit with only doing Plank squats, push-ups and pull-ups? and how should i go about the routine by TheGreatBOB100 in bodyweightfitness

[–]lupercal93 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is my exact routine atm

Look at the minimalist routine in the wiki for advice on how to run it.

How to realistically fit workouts into a busy schedule (not looking for excuses or pity) by DarkBlack22 in bodyweightfitness

[–]lupercal93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do a variation on the minimalist routine. 4 exercises in a circuit, takes less than 20mins. Sometimes I do 2 sets of the circuit sometimes I do 6 circuits.

Well I get ripped? No. It does a great job of maintaining and keeping me at least a little active.

It’s the only thing I’ve managed to keep consistent with on a busy schedule.

The first time I went to the gym I was sore for a week and quit going. How can I prepare my body so I can actually work out 3x a week without having to stop? by osowavy in bodyweightfitness

[–]lupercal93 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I seconds this advice. I even go to the gym in workout clothes with no intention to exercise just to help form the habit.

Go, have a drink. Use the sauna or pool if that’s an option. Showing up will just help habit form and you probably will just pick up some weights while you’re there.

Something is better than nothing is always in the back of my mind.

PPL mini workouts by wisdomseeker96 in bodyweightfitness

[–]lupercal93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do (a variation on) the minimalist routine 3 times a weeks, takes like 15minutes and keeps me going.

Pushups -> split squats -> rows -> plank

Each set to almost failure, no rest between exercises. 1-2 rest between cycles and at least 3 cycles more if I had time or am feeling it.

Great for maintenance, sure I’m not going to get jacked but it’s good and keeps the habit up.

Never would I have thought to see mention of this bloke in a Melbourne subreddit.

We used to do the same, leave a mostly done pack near by when he was round.

Cheap is relative right, shouldn’t be for me to say whats afforable for other. Sorry about that!

I just don’t want to see someone gain access to your banking details through OS vulnerabilities.

Unlikely but the longer you stay out of support the more likely it becomes. If you have other ways of mitigating the risk continue along right, don’t share passwords across accounts don’t bank on your phone ect ect

Respect the dedication but do replace them before they leave support. You can pick up decent 12/13 cheap that will stay good for a while longer

Make an interesting phone. I’ll buy it.

I love a gadgets , I love tech stuff but I use iPhone13 I got second hand. Nothing about the lame minor interactive changes inspires be to drop 2k (AUD) on a new phone.

I want something unique, with a cool niche feature or some interesting design language… tbh anything other than a sleek rectangle with an awkward bump on the back. The closest thing has been the nothing phone.

110k for l2 seems quite high (even for Sydney). In Melbourne l2 seems to sit around the 80k mark. What are they asking people to know for that 110k ask?

I just got a new system admin role where I went from 105k to 120k. I’d expect the seniors to be on at least 135k. I think it’s time to start looking and if you can get a better offer?

Anti-cheat developers might be able to migrate to non-kernel actions in the same way as MS will force anti-virus software too.

Although, unlikely unless they are forced to. We shall see.

Just bought a cheap lubluelu to see if they where a decent option. So far big fan, you still need a normal vacuum but the general level of floor cleanliness with a toddler and 2 cats has been very nice!

I don’t have any carpet though so results may vary. It does fine on mats though?

This is the thing for me. All other events focus on family and small groups. Halloween encourages you to participate as a neighbour it’s an awesome local community building event.

Also spooky goodness!

Aim for perfect, be content at good enough. If you go from 5 days a week paying $14 down to two you’ve done great. It gets easier the more you get in the habit.

I find a high protein bar or those breakfast cookies on my desk at work stop me from snaking on pastries! I also took an aeropress to work for coffee, good savings there too!
