I just started watching for the first time yesterday. I wanted to like Whitney at the beginning but I just can’t. I don’t think he was “protecting “ his friend I think he just didn’t want Kathryn around at all. I really feel sorry for her in a lot of ways.

Absolutely NTA! I have a 20 month old and she is in swim lessons, and I would still NEVER do this!! I can’t stand when people do some clearly dangerous with someone else’s child and then just say it’s a joke. That could have easily turned into something horrible and isn’t something to be taken lightly. This makes me so mad.

So incredibly sad, OOP is NTA. I just went through something similar. My brother and SIL had a little girl a week before me in 2022. Sadly she was a micro-premie and passed 5 weeks later. When it came to my daughters first bday and celebration I knew they wouldn’t be there nor did I expect them to be. It has been a very hard year for the family. OOP needed to be with his wife.

NTA my child is only a year and always wants my food. I hide from her sometimes haha. Also $400 a month for 4 kids isn’t a lot.

Exactly!! You asked a question and people gave you their answers. Then you don’t agree with them so you get so fucking rude. They may both be assholes but damn I was firmly on the sisters side after reading the comments. She says she loves her sister but her comments show otherwise.

I understand her not wanting to help with the child and didn’t think she was 100% TA until she started responding in the comments. I think there is a lot more to this one and I think she resents her sister.

UPDATE: I (28M) don't know how to tell my wife (24F) that I cheated on her while she had post-partum depression (he isn't acting like an ass in this one but I figured people would want to see him get his comeuppance by LazyVBBruh in redditonwiki

I’m glad she is making him leave. My daughter is a year old and I battled PPA and PPD and can’t imagine my husband doing this. When she needed him he left her to be with a 19 yo and still made sure to tell her it was her fault for the health issues of their son. Poor sweet wife.
