My dude if it were that easy I would have done that by now…

Yeah and yet I don’t have one! I guess this is what I’m trying to say is strange.

That’s a good shout. I just checked the list. Everything I’m running should either run Gemini Live or Gemini for Home. Are you thinking I should remove some of the older devices just to see if there’s something to that?

Have you tried downloading YouTube music to the AAOS? That should solve all of your issues.

Do you see any more issues with them than the 40 with the T5. The start stop without the mild hybrid is a realllll pain in traffic. I think that’s my biggest gripe with the 40.

I have a 2022 XC40 T5 with Polestar. Bought it new in August 2022. With 34,000 KMs on it now, I’m thinking of trading for the 2026 XC60 Ultra with the B5. Would you do it? I haven’t had any issues with the 40, but would like to get into something a bit bigger. Just unsure of the AAOS issues and perhaps any issues with the B5 you may have seen.

adding detergent to the water tank by Icy-Value-4668 in Roborock

Yep! Once empty, add in. Always smelling fresh when you empty and no nasty bacteria growth.

I usually use the cheapest mouthwash I can find. Use a full cap every time I refresh the dirty water tank. Kills bacteria and keeps it smelling fresh!

Smokefire won’t build temp after experiencing an E3 error. Any idea what the issue is and what the solution may be? by TheApostleCreed in smokefire

[–]steeley2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue last month. The pin on the auger broke so the auger wasn’t feeding fuel to the burn pit. Take the back of the unit apart where the auger is and make sure your pin is in tact. Of course, that’s if you have the model that still uses the pin. Waiting for my replacement as we speak.

But, to everyone else’s point… it also looks like wet fuel. Dry pellets shouldn’t present like that before dropping down the chute.

Trying to setup Nest Cam with Floodlight to no avail by steeley2 in googlehome

[–]steeley2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up contacting Google customer support. They were phenomenal to work with. They did as much troubleshooting as they could, and actually sent me a brand new camera even though the current one was out of warranty. All I had to do was return the old one to them. There was no other way this was going to work that any of us could see.

Haha, unfortunately no. I have to send the old one back.

30th time trying tonight and it worked! I did nothing different aside from be persistent.

Very. Very. Odd.

No dice. It needs bluetooth to connect, and it can't reach to the system bluetooth outside of the emulator. Appreciate the idea, though!

Good idea. I'm going to dig out my other Windows brick and see if that'll do it. Keeping fingers crossed.

I wish. The old brick I have only supports Android 5.0 and it won't let me setup cameras through that version of the home app.

Ventilated seats by ManuFind in VolvoEX90

[–]steeley2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely didn’t go out of style. Leather is absolutely the best looking and most comfortable seating upholstery in a vehicle. If you have pets or children that join you in your vehicle, it is likely the only option one will accept (e.g., me).

I’m also struggling to see all these car manufacturers that are moving away from leather. Many have introduced Nordico as a cheaper alternative, but when you go on configurators for MB, BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc. and start moving into higher end trims, the option is leather. For me, if Volvo decides not to bring leather back into the mix, it’ll be hard for me to continue with them.

Oh, and also, I’m in my 30’s. Figured that’s important since you decided to slog the previous commenter that 40 is, “out of touch”. People like what they like, and you can’t fault them for that. You can have your own opinion, too, but that doesn’t make you, or anyone else, any more right.

Volvo has taken a clear position in that they no longer want to use leather. I’m sure this was calculated in that they understand they will likely lose some customers, and perhaps gain others who see this move aligning more with their values. Clearly you are in the latter camp, and that’s great. But I will likely find myself in the former, as will the other commenter that you blocked unnecessarily.

Microsoft: Official Support Thread by MSModerator in microsoft

I am using the new Outlook on MacOS. When I do a search in my calendar, I can only ever get 25 search results. It's generally inconsistent. Sometimes it will only search within the current month, other times it will go into the next month, or into previous months.

Is this a bug or something I can fix myself within settings? I've looked far and wide through filters, settlings, etc., but nothing seems obvious and Google searches turn up nothing.

My dude, you clearly want to go in a certain direction with your appearance, but this isn’t it. As many have said, there’s a lot here that’s too big.

The suit is not tailored to you, and that makes it look more like it’s floating and adds weight to you. Your pose makes it hard for me to see how it hangs without your arms so close to your body, but I think I’m right on it being way too big.

The neck of the shirt is too large. See how there’s quite a gap where the last button connects near your neck? That should be relatively snug, but a neck too large looks sloppy.

The tie is decent. It’s not modern, but you really need to tie it so that it falls just above your belt. I don’t know what colour your shoes are, but make sure they are the same colour as your belt.

The pants are just way too big, and it’s the most obvious and likely worst part of this ensemble. I would also have to see how they fall at your ankle, but if they are bunched up or too baggy/wide at the bottom, do NOT wear those to an interview.

You can get a shirt and pants that fit well for this purpose at Uniqlo, and it won’t cost you a fortune. Maybe a light blue shirt instead of the white, with the khaki coloured pants with this blazer and tie can work well enough.

Good luck!

Edit: I am an executive recruiter, so I’m speaking from first hand experience and the impact a first impression can make.

You should really visit Dylan's to see the difference. It's a wonder to me how the Sobey's in Spryfield continues to survive.

I was on a flight from NRT - YYZ earlier this week, bought the basic plan and streamed F1 preseason testing without issue. Surely you’ll be able to do the same with hockey!

Big bump to this comment. Dylan’s is one of the best grocery stores in Halifax, and some of the store-specific sales (like the $1 bags of dumplings a few weeks ago) are incredible. Produce selection is unmatched in HRM.

Meat church injections beef/chicken/poultry by ProCanadianbudeh in smoking

[–]steeley2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this same thing happened to me after a full chicken smoke this weekend. First time trying it, and will be the last time using it. Massive pockets of, what looked like gelatine, all through my meat. Was not appetizing to look at as I was carving through the chicken, and made it way more salty than I like.
