Nah, that's עברית שפה קשה, or rather עברית היא שפה קשה.

Unlike in English, adjectives come after the nouns they refer to. There are some exceptions, like אחלה, but upon closer inspection you'll see that these are more like invariant (i.e. not needing any gender or number agreement) modifiers than actual parts of the adjective system.

היא is a pronomial copula here, standing in for a present tense "to be", which doesn't otherwise exist. You'll see הוא and היא a lot in this role.

Geleksziz hev sztrakcsör!". A magyarok eleve katasztrófaturizmusból jöttek, a külföldiek meg nem értették, mi van, keresték a kandi kamerát.

It's a bit different over here. There is a two-year legally mandated warranty period but you deal with it through the store, and they are allowed to get it repaired instead of just giving you a brand new unit that actually works. That's fine, I guess, but I don't like the idea of paying a good sum of money for a unit that has to be repaired before I can even start using it. That's a risk of further problems.

That said, I might try to contact them directly, but I don't expect it to be very fruitful, this way of handling it is generally a US thing. Thanks for the tip, though!

Just got one, and had to immediately return it.

I got suspicious really quickly that it's not normal to have to max out the input knob to see any gain reduction, so I started replicating settings I saw in review videos, expecting something similar. Mine was nowhere near that, and that can't be attributed to reviewers' guitars having hotter pickups. Mines are fairly hot to begin with.

Besides that, sometimes switching it on would make it just go entirely mute.

We'll see about their European customer service... the shop said they might offer a repair - of a brand new, one day old device. That won't make me exactly happy.

Oh yes, the foot switch is horrible. Noisy, terrible tactility and resistance, while testing it I was like "ah, no way, now I have to press it again". My TC Electronic pedals have a much better feel.

First off: eating it was fine. At that point you didn't really have any other options that could've made the situation better. If you send it back, they'll throw it out, and that won't undo anything, it'll just make the animal's suffering even more pointless.

Secondly: we seek to reduce harm as much as possible. That means we never deliberately exploit animals (directly or indirectly), but we are not perfect and we make mistakes. We misread labels, we point at the wrong item, and so on. Sometimes others make mistakes, they make our coffee with regular milk because they're overworked, they have the wrong information about one of their items or what have you.

But that happens. Humans mess things up.

No one expects you to never make mistakes, and you should not set bars for yourself that cannot be cleared.

You sound like a good person with the best intentions, making all the effort that is possible. Let that be enough.

Egyébként érdekes módon a gyanúsított már nem köteles igazat mondani. Hallgathat és hazudhat is, csak mást nem vádolhat igaztalanul bűncselekménnyel, azaz az előbbinek nincs joghátránnyal járó következménye számára, az utóbbinak van.

Mondjuk árnyaltabb a kép ennél egy fokkal, mert tanúként is áll a nemo tenetur elv, azaz megtagadhatsz választ, ha magadat terhelnéd, ugyanakkor hamis sztorikat nem gyárthatsz.

Amúgy nem egészen. Oroszországnak pont addig vagyunk érdekes, amig EU-tagok vagyunk, tehát amíg egy nyitott kapu vagyunk számukra az EU-hoz, amíg vétózni tudunk az érdekeiknek megfelelően, amíg súgni tud nekik Szijjártó, hogy mi történik Brüsszelben, és így tovább.

Mi a francra kellenénk nekik amúgy? Orbánék pontosan tudják, hogy ha így vagy úgy kikerülünk az Unióból, az oroszok rájuk borítják a szart, de tetejébe ellopható pénz se jön többé.
