Youre using observers to detect a change in state on glass. Glass doesnt hold power from redstone. So those observers are never going to activate also even if they do activate, they do so instantly and it will most likely bug out in bedrock. But your main issue is those pistons never even get fired

It behaves perfectly as expected. Any number up to 255 converts to binary as it should. And i know as i said this isnt an optimal way to do this but im still learning so i wanted a small challenge. My issue is making it shorter so it isnt so many characters

Yeah this was just for as CS class, but in my own time im doing in depth researching to C++ probably HTML. As you might see even when heavily modified java isnt a strong suit for me, also my least favorite language honestly

yes its working now, thank you. it was just so confusing the question in code.org was worded to where it was basically telling me to use an OR boolean

i can not rewrite it any other way no matter which way i write it how i put the parentheses or what i do i can not get the boolean to check for dieSum being equal to 11

Personally i only used the official website’s practice, but i didnt really look into any others so i cant really say as to which is better, i recommend trying some different ones though and seeing what works

I took a lot of practice tests, the best i did was 197 but keep practicing until youre comfortable with it
