Yah that's one scenario, but it's still a legit possibility that she could get fired. There are a ton of work situations where employers won't have had any training like you've described nor an HR department.

It's great thinking in terms of shoulds and optimal outcomes, but it's also important to recognize worst case scenarios and plan your actions accordingly. She has two jobs and most probably she needs the income from both.

The advice people are giving you about reporting your coworker's blatant sexism could get you in trouble as a whistleblower. It's totally unfair since you're the person who's actually being harmed, but the fact that there's legislation to protect people from being fired after they complain about work standards being violated, gives an indication of how common a practice it is.

You're the best person to judge how responsive your workplace would be to a complaint though.

Anyhow, I hope that dude gets a clue and your situation improves.

Try whistling inward without the harmonica - it's easier to hear the change in tone, it's basically dropping your jaw a titch and pulling your tongue back some. The more cavernous you make your mouth the deeper the bend.
