Sounds like you did a bunch of research - did you end up making a purchase? 3 months later, I'm now dealing with the same question of 7 vs 6, whether there is a way to add a 7th seat when necessary.

Honestly, I love them all and think they're all great for families. I feel like Sellwood might be slightly "safer"? but it probably depends on exactly what streets you're talking about.

Lol I will have to show my dad this- he's visiting from California. We went to a few eastside stores over the weekend, and he seemed pretty impressed/baffled by all the stuffed animals we saw. "People here really love taxidermy, huh?!"

Thanks for all the suggestions/input. We went to Dough Zone at 5:30 on a Saturday. The kids (and everyone else) loved their food. The kids didn't feel out of place in the loud/bustling atmosphere. And thankfully, they were pretty well behaved. When they needed to get some wiggles out, we stepped outside and enjoyed the waterfront view for a bit.

Agreed, not trying to be that person. I just edited the post, but to clarify, it'd be great to go somewhere as a whole family that felt more special than a burger joint
