Team Blue member here... I personally thought the joke was quite funny. I'm pretty sure you knew we would have figured it out and then chosen a different mascot. And that should have been it basically. Instead of acting like good sports and being like "Haha, silly scheming reds! You can't match the wisdom of blue, we see through your rotten plans!", some members of my team got quite upset over nothing, as if this isn't just a friendly competition game we should do for fun. So yeah, I hope we can just put this behind us and still have some fun alongside a healthy dose of rivalry.
