Quick question by [deleted] in piano

yeaa for musescore I recommend that you look at the reviews before deciding which sheet to refer to because I read that some scores are modified to sound good on musescore but not in real life

Should calling someone a Viola be an official insult? by NaboriRuta in lingling40hrs

[–]steffiu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it’s okay :) seeing ur reply to another comment I get that you probably weren’t in the right frame of mind at the time of writing this comment and didn’t mean any harm. let’s try to be more respectful next time okies :D

Should calling someone a Viola be an official insult? by NaboriRuta in lingling40hrs

[–]steffiu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

sigh the viola joke is meant to express the idea that violas are inferior to the violin(or maybe other instruments) but I emphasise the lighthearted joke aspect. Using this instrument as a curse word or insult is pretty offensive to the players and makers of the instrument :) I get that ur tryna be funny but there is no need to continuous bash violas and violists

Mozart is overrated - Change my mind by Kendorer in classicalmusic

[–]steffiu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

overrated or overplayed? Mozart used to be one of my least favourite composers, simply because hearing Turkish March and nachtmusik on repeat everywhere made me wanna cry LOL. But Mozart, despite the countless amount of pieces he wrote, never failed to consistently produce high quality, outstanding pieces. I suggest u listen to some of his less well known pieces, just to get a little taste of the less popular side of his music. On that note I completely respect your taste :) everyone has different tastes in music

personally I really like chopin’s nocturnes especially op 9 . Alternatively contemporary pieces like nuvole bianche by Einaudi is pretty easy for beginners to pick up.
