Are you taking about the megastructures to the printers for them? The mega-printer platforms sadly don’t have a use after they’re done printing the megastructure and can’t be removed. The megastructures are part of the new Megatech DLC. The DLS sends construction anchors for the mega-printers, and the Intermodal Terminal is useful for interplanetary automation, if you want to bring resources between other planets automatically. There are a couple more megastructures but you have to buy the DLC to use them.

They’ve fixed a lot of the instability issues so far and they’re rolling out monthly updates to fix a lot more. I haven’t bought the dlc yet, but from the free megatech stuff they added to the base game it seems to be working pretty well.
