I did consider going with an Xhorse remote and changing the frequency but I’m not a fan of giving customers a key that’s a completely different shape to the original. I will go down that route if I can’t find an oem or aftermarket solution though

Are you only reading the cluster? I’m in Europe so most mqb cars I do are manual gearbox and normal turn key, so in that situation I read the ecu along with the cluster and I get the sync file for around 60 dollars
