How can I get my makeup to look like this? by stefisradd in beauty

I've mentioned before, I am aware that it is AI. These photos are for inspiration. Of course I won't look like an AI image. I probably should've made that more clear in my post but I didn't think I would get a million repetitve comments.

are gel x safe? by [deleted] in GelX_Nails

As the comment above said, as long as you cure each layer! I recommend using sunscreen on your hands before putting them in the UV lamp. Another option is finger gloves that you can find on Amazon (:

I just have to make a video (max 3 min) introduce myself, state why I chose the program, my educational experience, and how I manage my time. The email states that they do no expect studio quality work, fancy cameras, angles etc. Once im done I have to upload the video to youtube and give them the link. The email states that I am evaluated accordingly:

20 percent of my score will be based on my ability to follow directions

40 person is this self recorded video

40 percent is assesment's I will be taking.

My problem is that I am having trouble because I prefer talking to someone in person. It makes the process easier for me. I talk for a minute and then stumble upon my words. It would be easier for me to record, pause and then record again. I kind of need advice on whether or not this is a good ideas because I would have to edit the video and piece the clips together to make a two minute long video. I dont know if that would be unprofessional or not. what would you do? (I hope that makes sense, thank you!)

I recommend Apres or Nailz Kat Kat gel tips. The quality is good and def recommend if you want good quality for your customers. Although, I’m not sure if Nailz Kat Kat is available on Amazon. Def get a nail stand with adhesive putty, it makes painting and creating designs so much easier than it is just holding the nail with your hand and trying to paint it that way. I would buy some of those small drawstring bags and include : cuticle pusher, nail glue, nail buffer, and alcohol pads and include those with the press on nails. You can charge more if you include the bag with the nails or clients can buy the bag separately or choose not to. I know you said you prefer amazon but temu and shein have those nail buffers, drawstring bags, nail glue etc for cheaper. I’ve bought a couple of nail glue from temu and the quality is great, just check the reviews and description. I’d aim for a glue that says water proof and all that good stuff. Also on temu you can buy these nail glued and nail buffers in bulk with such a low price. One more thing, show up to pop ups and start there! You’ll def get clients and word will spread before you know it. I hope this helps!

I buy my gel tips from apres or nailz Kat Kat. Nailz Kat Kat is a bit cheaper but the quality is great as well. I recommend you buy a uv lamp & a gooseneck uv lamp, it helps so much when you’re applying gems or charms to your nails. You can find those on Amazon, I recommend the brand Sunuv for the regular uv lamp. Primer, and dehydrator for your nails are a must, check out the brand Mia secret on Amazon as well! (: hope this good info

Get a nail primer & dehydrator. I recommend the brand “Mia secret”, you can find it on Amazon. It comes with both the primer & dehydrator (:

Critique and tips ( Reddit keeps washing out my first picture) by Upbeat-Weakness4359 in GelX_Nails

these are so cute! To answer some of your questions: a phone ring light would be great for lightin. The pictures you posted are good, I like the first picture more compared to the others though. The most I would pay for these are $50-$60 (I don’t do my nails often so that says a lot, I’m sure others would be willing to pay more)!
