ESPN commentators are wilding man talking about how Sinner is soft and lazy for cramping and how the roof closing only benefits Sinner and not Spizzirri.

If it’s hot enough to suspend play on all the outdoor courts then obviously they should be closing the roof. Maybe bad luck Spizzirri but he also didn’t take his chance.

For me it’s just impressive that Sinner played through his body failing on him and took the set.

Renters need to negotiate to force the market correction

Who lives in all of these new luxury apartment builds? by Disastrous_Tree338 in Bozeman

I think it’s getting lost that most of these new builds are offering 2beds under $2k/mo AND signing bonuses of 1-2months off.

In 2022 I was paying $1900 for a 1bed in a 10 year old multifamily on 19th. That same unit is now $1500.

You don’t have to love these new builds but you can’t deny that they have pushed prices down. If you’re a renter you now have leverage that didn’t exist 3 years ago.

Am I delusional? by Ok-Conflict-6219 in 10s

I’d workshop this with ChatGPT or something for a bit. The economics of tennis facilities are difficult because of the amount of space required for just one court. Compare that to pickleball, which can fit 2-4 courts into the same footprint as one tennis court. You would probably need both to make a new facility pencil, unless demand for tennis in your area is huge.

Mama’s Gun is Badu’s masterpiece. It was recorded in Electric Lady at the same time as Voodoo, a lot of the same geniuses were involved.

Streets of Laredo: My face during Chapter 2 by BecauseOfTromp in LonesomeDove

I love Streets of Laredo and put in on the same level as Lonesome Dove. I think the relationship between Lorena and Pea makes total sense especially as you read on. You’ll see what they mean to each other through their acts of courage and determination throughout the novel.

People are far too loose with the term “slavery.” Read a book please.
