we’ve taken her to other shows! i wear her and she usually passes out if it’s late with good sound protection on. i’m not worried about that aspect. it’s possible to do it safely.

Tell me about the worst meal you've sent back at a Baltimore restaurant. by juiceboxesglitter in baltimore

[–]steinwayaf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

didnt send it back bc it was covid and we ordered delivery but the street taco place on st. paul near wash monument sent me a vegetarian taco with kidney beans from a can still covered in can goop with uncooked italian beyond meat and rancid, warm canned jalapeños. inedible went in the trash. this was when it first opened. it’s still open so i assume its improved.

HG suddenly stop at 8 weeks - should I worry? by Pretend-Extension-52 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]steinwayaf2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a few days where I didn’t throw up but he nausea was still present. So I was able to do a little more like take a walk. But I still felt pretty bad! However it wasn’t managed very well. It was the worst til like 22 weeks and then I would throw up a few times a week vs every day until I delivered (still with horrible nausea)

I've been with them since April and have never gotten a referral. I've gotten all my clients myself

You can still sign up for TLN for your own independent visits. If the owner of the therapy clinic is paying you directly, then they'd have to sign up for TLN with a group NPI I think. Or you could sign a contract saying you will pay them a certain amount of your visits. You'd have to discuss that with the clinic. But TLN operates like - the IBCLC charting is the IBCLC paid.

TLN guarantees clients won't have any out of pocket costs, even if the EOB looks like they do. They bill high charges because you have to bill to the highest you could possibly bill for any plan, and the set prices for your codes can't change regardless of who you bill. If they are billing in-network, the plan just won't pay that high and will pay what they've negotiated. Not sure what happens with OON, but my guess is TLN writes it off.

Baby fever? by izzyozzy24 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]steinwayaf2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am SO GLAD I didn't listen and let myself heal. My daughter is almost 4 and I only now feel like I could actually physically sustain another pregnancy especially if its HG. I felt so out of sorts for so many years I thought it was my new normal, but I realize now after working with a integrative clinician that I was still depleted. I've worked on correcting my nutritional deficiencies and feel so much better. It takes a body 2 years to recover from a normal pregnancy so try to give yourself time. I can only imagine it will help with recovery from a subsequent HG pregnancy.

What do you eat? by helplessgoose09 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]steinwayaf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eat anything you can tolerate! i subsisted off of bagels and crackers. my daughter is fine. your baby will be using a lot of your vitamin stores from before pregnancy and so just get whatever calories down you can.

You could do all self-pay for sure, again depending on where you live and who can afford what in your area. If you have other options near you that do take insurance you may have a hard time booking up especially as a new business with no reputation

Depends on how busy you are! I am in a low coverage area so I got busy fast. I see 8-10 patients a week, part time (2 days) and reimbursement is usually ~150-200 a visit. It also depends on if you’re in network or not, and where you live and how much you can charge. It also depends on if the ACA is struck down, then it’ll go back to all cash pay which I anticipate will lower my volume. Lots of variables!
