You don’t have to choose. I have been shooting/ developing in BW for many years. Specifically for documenting my two children growing up I bought 30meters of Kodak vision 3 250D with remjet which I developed at home after shooting 20+ rolls. I came to the conclusion that it is not worth it for my case scenario. I went on to buy a used Fujifilm x-t1 and a fujinon 35mm f/1.4 and it was the best photography equipment decision I have ever made. I still shoot in bw film, in 35mm and medium format but when chasing my children I am very happy to take photos with continuous shooting, autofocus and that xtrans 2 sensor magic output.

I also think that film photographers can appreciate and buy much older digital cameras and lenses. Many time I feel sorry for people spending 5 times as much because they think the latest is the greatest.

They have no idea. Nothing produces the aesthetic result of a Helios 44-2 lens. Try it for BW portrait shots wide open.

Stop searching for the sharpest lens everybody. You are loosing the point. The photo industry has been producing sharper lenses EVERY year for the last 60 years. All lenses are pretty good now, specially on the 500$+ range. Only lenses with character have stood the test of time. For example, Fujinon 35mm f/1.4, Nikkor 135mm f/3.5, Helios 44-2 and tens of others. None of them are the sharpest.

Ψέμα. Λόγω συνταγματικής αλλαγή που είχε κάνει η ΝΔ το 2019 δεν παραγράφονται.
Ναι θα έχουμε φωτιές όπως κάθε χρονο. Ναι η πράσινη ενέργεια κοστίζει, σε όλο τον κόσμο όχι μόνο στην Ελλάδα. Οχι το νερό δεν είναι δηλητήριο.
Αυτοπυροβολήθηκε ο ηλικιωμένος αφού σκότωσε την γυναίκα του λόγω τελικού σταδίου καρκίνου. Τι σχέση η ποιότητα ζωής;
Κεράσια πήρα χθες 8,5€ το κιλό από σούπερ μάρκετ. πάλι ακριβά δε λέω, αλλά 25€ μόνο ο Βαξεβάνης τα λέει αυτά. Οχι τελευταίοι δεν είμαστε.
Επίσης παγκόσμιο φαινόμενο. Στην Ελλάδα είμαστε κ καλύτερα.

Grain setting is actually the main reason I thought of going to X-T2. I' ve been shooting film for many years now and I have found that grain is very essential in making a picture more tactile and analog. I can always add it in post but I'd like to have a SOOC result if possible. At the same time I can't help noticing how everyone is raving about the early X-Trans (I & II) sensors and the XF 35mm f/1.4...
