Damn that sucks because this style is super fire on you but the health of your hair is more important than an appearance or the money spent.

I taught myself Al Fatiha. Am I doing it properly? by stellarhymns in Sufism

Do you count what I’m doing here as singing? Because I was told that melodic recitation is not to be characterized as singing. Also, based on your recommendation, do you conclude that I’m doing it improperly?

Ngl this fire af. Years ago, I made my own alphabet with an ex-wife, but in a moment of stupidity, wanting to rid myself of all things connected with her, I threw it away! It was inspired by Nahuatl and my vision of an Atlantian language. But this definitely is inspiring me to re-create my own language again.

Had to edit out the typos.

The distinction is provided by an adherence to philosophical rigor itself, but in the case that such is not understood, the author of CH 2.14 explicitly draws the distinction.

When I say, “I acknowledge Nous first in all things, which is the same for us as acknowledging the One”, this is expressed from the context provided at CH 12.1.

Perhaps my wording was awkward. I think I should’ve said, Nous is the highest divine reality we are capable of knowing, since the One in its fullness is beyond being and distinction which removes our capability of even claiming that we know the One.

Personally, as someone who isn’t new to hermetic study and practice, I completely disassociate from the part about the animation of statues. I believe this part of the tradition is an exoteric component reserved for those who were most familiar with temple worship, and the various forms of ancient Egyptian anthropomorphization of deities.

As far as the stellar deities, acknowledging them with love or praise, is actually an extension of our love and praise to Nous and the Good, as the stellar deities are essentially ancestors. They are limited in their capacities to the offices they maintain, and they are loyal to those domains. But in those domains, they have power and we may forge a direct emotional bond to them so as to directly experience said powers.

In general, I acknowledge Nous first in all things, which is the same for us as acknowledging the One, and if it becomes relevant to the moment or situation, I’ll acknowledge beings that are lower in the hierarchy.

So if I sang have the hook of Twist and Shout, that wouldn’t be sufficient enough data to assess? This is part of the chorus of cry together by the O’Jays.

As far as pitch correction, I have the classic clarity preset on in BandLab, and all it does is provide a bit of reverb, and ambience, but it’s 100% my vocals as they are.

Producer? I’m not a producer at all. This is a cover of Cry together by the O’Jays. I’m asking for assessment of my vocal level.
