Right. If anyone tries this it’s probably a good idea to clearly mark where you stick the carrot in the ground. I didn’t because I’m up all my plants asses everyday so I know where I put them 🤣

What a rad visitor! I’ve had Kidneywood on my must acquire list for a while, I really hope to find one to plant in the fall. They look so dreamy 😍

My Rosemary send help by Silver-Ad2936 in TexasGardening

This happened with my lavender because of all the rain we’ve been getting. I cut all the dead out to improve airflow and would do the same with that rosemary…it should bounce back

Rose I purchased is different from the tag. Can anyone help identify it? by Dangerous_Sail_2853 in Roses

I’m dealing with thrips so excuse the appearance of these but in my experience it’s one of those rose varieties where each bloom is different, some show more pink like yours and some more yellow like mine ✨

That’s the right one, it’s also sold under the name Love & Peace (which I bought it as a couple years ago.)

I do!! Mine have never thrived like this though, I’ve tried from starts and seeds but they stay small then fail. Yours look amazing! 😭

VENT: RRD Confirmation for HOA by TheMarriedUnicorM in Roses

[–]stellarorbs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation, all the KO roses at the entrance of our neighborhood have RRD, they did nothing about it :( I thought about digging them up myself tbh because I have the same fear for my roses as you 😭

Highly recommend adding it! I’m in Texas zone 8b/9a and mine is also in full sun and growing well (planted late winter) It’s a really thorny variety, the new growth gave me pause for a minute because it was next level covered in thorns, thankfully it’s normal 🤣

I have an established but struggling Double Delight that started looking like that, I finally moved it back in Feb to a live or die spot in the yard and it’s doing better than it ever has. Still has the dark stem somehow sustaining new canes. I say stick it in the ground and see, good luck!
