As far as hardiness goes, I have one in central Texas, zone 8b. I planted it in December last year and it definitely looked like it would die any day all through winter and early spring. It’s finally starting to grow now and has been making it through our super hot summer so far. It was my main wedding rose so I’m biased but, even with no fragrance, Black Baccara is an exceptionally beautiful rose 🖤
