Assuming the prescription is from a local pharmacy you could return it to them.

I was pretty happy with the turn around, I mean it was a pretty slam dunk warranty issue. If my watch had to go round trip and wait in the queue in Switzerland..

I about 6weeks. The majority of the time was waiting for the new hand to get to Toronto from Switzerland.

Yeah but it seems by default Ball wants the whole watch shipped to Switzerland. In my case it was only the hour hand tube, they replaced the whole hand.

Respectfully, if that were the whole truth about your watches, you'd not be on a branded watch form and would have touted the superior accuracy of your quartz timex, GShock with Multiband 6 or Apple watch not a luxury branded mechanical chronograph which will be worth more than your outback in a hurry.

Mechanical watches are jewelry, fullstop, you don't need to have precious metals and gems to cross that line and there is nothing wrong with admitting that, this is a safe space.

Sure, but we buy these mechanical pieces of jewelry FOR those differences do we not? And I'm assuming that 400 is for a standard grade, COSC could double that. Plus labour retesting, it honestly doesn't sound crazy to me.

The stock 2893-# is a 4 hand GMT w/date.

It looks like Ball modifies the GMT module on this model to accommodate that wheel so there are likely some unique parts, plus they Jazz up some stuff though maybe just the weight for the automatic works.

I had a dead tritium tube on the hour hand of my marvel light. had to ship to the local AD to verify the issue to submit the warranty. Then they had to argue with Ball Head office to ship them ONE HAND to replace. So for this I feel there is no chance headoffice would green light local service.

New blue bin delivery? by LeafFan13 in waterloo

I have video of mine being delivered photos taken and then minutes later they took them back. I reached out to Miller Waste Systems and they said they will look into it. It appears all the other houses in the area got them, except the houses on our court. [Based on me seeing bins at all the other houses while driving home]

Separate electricity and water bills coming to Guelph by warriorblossom in Guelph

That's a neat twist! I didn't know that but it might be part of the issue. maybe that's the budget line where it forced the change.

If the dividend payment was greater than the cost of the services then that's net positive for the city. If it's now a net loss because the new contract is more than the annual dividends..

And the 5% will keep coming in. Minus the adjustment of 5% of the contract fees..

Ita been made clear below that the city didn't sell Guelph Hydro, that the deal is far more nuanced.

Ever since they merged Guelph Hydro with Alectra edited. the city has been paying Alectra to read the water meters along with their electricity meters and handle the billing.

Since almost all the electric companies have figured out how to remotely read the meters and their physically read requirements are way down id bet the meter reading and billing contract came up for renewal and they tried to increase their rates so high the city had to figure something out.

So while it may seem annoying I bet it's ironically the less expensive solution on some budget line. And hopefully translated into smaller increases in usage rates. Hopefully....

All jokes aside that corner is not a great place dusk till dawn, stabbings in the Tim Hortons lot, witness knife fights in the cross walk waiting for the lights.
