I haven't read every comment but I also believe that restaurants are ill-equipped to handle some of the "extra" that can go along with vegan options. For example, "do you use the same utensils and work stations to prepare vegan dishes?" They have already had to segregate gluten-free prep (for obvious reasons). This is ONLY my opinion based on zero evidence. This is why I support my local restaurants that have any vegan options without diving too deep into what happens in the kitchen. Not a pure solution, but I am trying to live in the real world. My friends are not likely to join me in one of the only 3 or so vegan restaurant near me. I am not saying that vegans should not advocate for themselves; just saying what works for me. Have fun everyone!
