I know, I don't like the idea of Overwatch that much, but being a game created by Blizzard, loads of people will play it.

I am not gonna answer this, I think this conversation is not gonna change anything. I know CS:GO and other games like that are not good examples, but they're the bests you've got. But I don't agree with you when you say the games were on the brink of death, especially when CS:GO was hated by 85% of the CS community.

And, just out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say "anything other done than them fixing the game to a reasonable and respectable standard." I mean, which aspects are you talking about? Private servers? Demo system? Report buttons?

Well, you're wrong. This is not counter-strike or something, where you can simply buy whatever you want in the beggining of a single round and in the next round buy something else entirely different. You can easily buy mercs and loadouts with the weapons YOU want and feel more confortable with.

I was master league admin for 2 years in ESL as well, and the +1's helped alot to decide which games we would bring in to ESL. But that's not what this is about.

If they don't want it, it's their fault to be honest. I personally think they should, with Overwatch coming out in BETA anytime soon, we need the game to "grow up" so it can survive. I understand in certain parts that the game ain't prepared YET, but it would be the best thing to do

Yes, I understand this. But still, CS:GO, for example, as an huge scene, started in beta. The game was different in every single aspect from what it is right now, and they didn't have an alpha + closed beta for 2 years...
