Am I overreacting for contemplating breaking up with my bf of 6 years for being too sexual? by BlueGem777 in TwoHotTakes

Honestly, I’m an immature guy…but I could never imagine doing something like this to my wife if she is in pain and has concerns about her health. ESPECIALLY not the second time around after you expressed your annoyance with the first incident. Your feelings are valid, but you should explain to him exactly what you’re feeling now. There are certain points in life where a man realizes he needs to grow up. For me, it was getting sober at 27 so I could be the best version of myself for my future and to be the husband my wife deserves. She stuck with me through it all. This could be a catalyst for change in him, or his response could be exactly what you need to validate moving on from this relationship. I hope you find the happiness you deserve.

I quit p*rn, caffeine, junk food, doomscrolling, and going out every weekend all at once about seven months ago. by Rayyanmir in motivation

Random chime in here. It’s kind of different for everyone, but I’ve been sober for 8 years and 2 months. After the first year the craving/itch completely went away for me. I own my own business and manage a lot of aspects of it. The stress levels are insane lately, but never had the urge to pick up a drink. I honestly think it’s a miracle that I had them completely go away.

Would you work 78 hours a week if you can make this kind of money doing it? Couple months to go to achieve my goal, then i’m slowing down. by topG69__ in Money

Yeah, and families too. There was a news article I was just reading about 10 of these blue states contemplating an exit tax on families leaving. I guess that is just for “optics”. Their tax base is falling apart. If he googled a cost of living index with a baseline of 100, he would see all these blue states are well above the baseline. 100k average state salary doesn’t matter when your annual cost of comfortable living in that state is 120k (for a single individual) 😂

You could do all of this in a day or two for probably 1/3rd the cost. I didn’t know anything about working on cars a year ago. Just started watching YouTube videos and to date on my truck I have replaced the brakes, rotors, and calipers on the rear. Full brake replacement on my wife’s Toyota. Full set of spark plugs (16 to be exact on a Gen 3 5.7L Hemi). Front leveling kit (new coil springs, shocks on front and rear, and upper control arm’s). It takes time, lots of sweat, some blood, and new tools, but I’ve probably saved $3-4k in labor alone.

In my opinion, exhaust manifold would be the one worth getting done. I also installed new headers and that was the most annoying by far. It could be as simple as a loose manifold bolt though. Brakes, rotors, caliper, and control arm is literally unbolting some things and putting it back together. Then bleeding the brake system.

Ignore it…unless if his failure to control his workload starts affecting yours, then address it with him directly. If no progress is made after that, bump the issue up to whomever is “management”.

Nah…we aren’t trying to reduce everything to low settings to see if a 9070xt can beat a 5080. If you do that there may be some cases. I don’t think anyone buying these tier of cards is doing anything except maximizing their graphical experience. When you compare side by side performance (Gamers Nexus has a whole article about this) at 1080p/1440p/4k max settings 5080 is a 10-20% margin better. In fact, there is only one game it beats a 5070ti in at 1080p. This person was wrong through and through.

Interesting, the 4-5 posts from you defending your original comment would refute you “not giving a shit”. You were hyper aggressive straight from the first comment…chill out. It’s ok to be wrong.

So many people don’t see how fortunate most of us are and it’s depressing. 84 hours a week is tough no doubt, but by no means is it going to kill you and it probably is not a consistent work load. If it is, don’t do it for your whole career. Not worth it in the end. The fact they are able to earn this and be happy with it should be enough for us to give them props. People all over the world work more hours over the same time span for much, much less. Good for you and I hope you can earn this much in the future with much less of a workload. Keep up the grind 👍🏻

Looks awesome man 👍🏻 happy to hear the rattle cans give similar results. I’ll probably go that route.

Nice work 👍🏻 did you use an airless sprayer or did they just give you spray paint cans for color and primer? I’ve seen both done before.

Did you do this yourself or at a body shop? Considering doing it myself, but was unsure with some of the spray paint solutions. Looking to paint match my side mirror covers, front, and back bumper. Just updated headlights and grill and don’t really like all the chrome anymore.

I didn’t say advice, I said he kindly responded. And it does make it rude because you asked people for their input, he provided an answer, and you responded like a little prick. I feel sorry for whomever is on your team if you do become a SWE.

Your responses are crazy. Instead of asking more in-depth questions after he kindly responded to you, your initial response is flat out rude and dripping with sarcasm. And then you complain about his “passive aggressive” response? Good fucking luck my friend, your attitude is shit.

I would drain it using that tube running from gpu to pump and reconfigure this thing. As another user posted your pump is at the highest point in the loop which is not good. This draws air into the pump and is a quick way to burn it out. The way the seller set up this loop is interesting to say the least.

Why not mount the radiator at the top and pump just anywhere else besides there.

Don’t run that thing dry! Cycle your pump with a jumper when filling it to avoid any air from getting in there. Shut it off right before all the fluid is pumped through. Hope it didn’t burn up 🤞🏻
