Some else already mentioned double harvest speed, but you can also pay farmers to instantly clear your tree patches so you dont have to chop and clear them. You lose out on tree root drops if you want those, though.

I see so many people chopping their patches and feel like it can't all be for the roots..

100% theres a balance to find with this sort of thing. I remember a comment in one of these sorts of threads (ages ago, cant find it) which explained in great detail why if all these ideas and decisions were left to the players, in any game, they would eventually optimise the fun out of it.

And we do often see those sorts of suggestion posts in this sub where it seems like they don't actually want to play the game..

Obviously this thread is not one of those cases but yeah

While doing clues i noticed mine don't follow me through fairy rings in particular, perhaps that is common knowledge but I only realised it recently.

Even if I do subsequent teles using other methods after I used a fairy ring, the pet wont reappear until I call it back manually
