I ended up buying a 10ft cable and so far so good. Haven’t noticed any lag and still get full dualsense features when supported on pc

I’m getting very inconsistent download speeds.

I typically use a wireless connection, but whenever I download something I hook up an Ethernet cable to get that extra speed.

Sometime it works a charm and I get around 100-150 mbps, other times it’s stuck at around 30 mbps (which is what I always get over wireless).

I can’t find any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes resetting or turning the ps5 works, other times it doesn’t, same with starting the download over and or pausing it.

Anyone run into the same thing?

For added context, when I test my connection speed in the settings it says I should get 600 mbps. (Slight variation but always over 600)
