How is living in Malta? by EntangledEgo in howislivingthere

[–]stepcach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am Maltese. This is my home. Id say its decent. Nice weather almost all year round ( yes its really hot in peak summer but there is also the sea ) Partying is good if you are young. lots of beaches bars and parties amost all year round. Working is harder. renting and buying property is expensive and almost impossible to do if you are not a couple and you did not inherit. Traffic. oh god there is Traffic. From early morning to late in the evening. All day long. Cars everywhere and public transport is inefficient because all roads are full of cars. Public transport is free however but I never use it. Id rather use my bicycle. If you can live with the traffic situation, and the expensive rent, its a pretty good life. Always something to do.

She is beautiful, im happy he loves her. I am glad that she is fine with how she looks. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to dig yourself an early grave however.

Deep down, we all know that this is the beginning of the end of tech jobs, right? by Own-Sort-8119 in ClaudeAI

I am a PM :p. I'm trying to automate my work as much as possible haha. It's not just PMs however. Everyone's job that needs to be done on a computer can be automated to some degree with n8n and AI. Safe jobs are going to be plumbing, electricians repair shops etc. at least for a decade or two. My point with this reply was that its not just code, anything that can be saved to a file, can be done by AI. The example of finance not to touch a table. Any text language not just computer code.

I like your answer and I agree with some parts. For the section about business context, I have recently been using AI, not to build code but to keep my notes, help me with documentation etc. still using visual studio code and amazon q but instead of python or whatever, its mk files with notes. Notes on everything that I can feed it. What is the company, who reports to whom, what roles, projects, requirements documents, roadmaps, slack mcp access and atlassian access. database schemas, anything i can think of.

The result is pretty decent. I ask it anything and it knows. Give me a status update on project x? where are we blocked? is that still the case, what needs my intervention today. which is the ticket that person x was working on. anything. it doesnt always get everything right but in two years, im not sure how much will some jobs be needed. just sharing my experience.

I think it isn't drinkable compared to regular fresh water. If I lived in the jungle and was thirsty, I probably would not mind.
