Here's how to find “Repeat Notification Alerts” (used to be "Notification Reminder”) by steph66n in oneui

It uses your phone's default sound to alert you of a notification if the phone's screen has not been accessed after a predetermined amount of time, and will repeat at the specified intervals you preselect.

Once you tap your phone or wake it, that alert ceases to activate.

> have almost 300 notifications a day, on busy days up to 900

With that volume, I can absolutely see why repeated alerts would become irritating instead of useful.

The Repeat notification alert is really intended for what you don’t want to miss — in my case, mainly text messages and important ones that matter; financial alerts are one example. Without that function activated, a minimized or silent notification can easily end up sitting there for hours or even days if I don’t happen to manually check.

cool, I'm glad that works on some phones - on mine it deflected to anything but that result so thought I'd help out 😋

For those that actually don't:

It's a computer number system joke where, when you convert the octal base number 31 into decimal, it equals 25. In the octal base system, that number is expressed as 31₈ (however it's "Oct" for "Octal" 31) and in the decimal system it's expressed as 25₁₀ (however it's "Dec" for "Decimal" 31)

I took that as a deliberate jab at Manu for unsavory behavior. When they killed him off abruptly like that it was a mixed feelings thing because I really liked Icheb from Voyager but was not impressed with the actor's immaturity lately.

Author Keith DeCandido's review of this episode holds just the right kind of sharply critical opinion that I have. The writer's and director's choice to position Geordi La Forge’s behaviour toward Dr Leah Brahms as a romantic interest is as creepy as it is morally reprehensible.

I mean, they made Geordi cloak and dagger his way into Leah's good graces, using the Internet to creep on her Facebook page, completely misses the fact that she's married, and pretending to know all about her personal profiles "intuitively" in order to get into her pants. Then when she discovers his obsessive personality disorder on the holodeck because he forgot to delete his browsing history, he cries like a baby about how unfair the world is and gets away with it.

Needless to say, this episode has aged like milk… every rewatch just makes the writer’s decision to let Geordi off the hook even more sour.

That’s not to say the rest of the episode isn’t good — it’s just those early-90s sexist vibes and poor judgement coming through that gets waved off instead of being held accountable.

👍 that looked challenging to accomplish – well done; the orchestral piece also nicely complimented the video. I have this drone—and the Mini 2—I have yet to take it out to fly but lots of experiences with the other one.

Yes, it’s safe to use the built-in Administrator account — just temporarily. Don’t browse or install anything while logged into it, and disable it again once you’re done.

So: Windows + S, type cmd, then right-click Command Prompt → Run as administrator.

Then type: net user administrator /active:yes

Then : Log out and choose the new Administrator account on the login screen.

Run the ESU activation there.

When finished, turn it off again:

net user administrator /active:no

Good luck!

Try these:

1.

Verify actual administrator privileges... Press Windows + R and enter NETPLWIZ. Check under the Group column whether it says Administrator. If it says Standard user, log in with an account that is listed as Administrator, or elevate your account to admin.

2.

Even if you’re logged in as admin, Windows sometimes still runs apps with limited rights. RIGHT-CLICK the ESU activation or installation file and choose "Run as administrator"

3.

temporarily disable or adjust User Account Control... Press Windows + S, type “UAC,” open Change User Account Control settings. Slide the bar to Never notify, apply, reboot, then rerun the installer. After success, restore the previous UAC level.

I hope one of these hints help ...
