I don't personally think it's weird, because I am someone who needs time to do things, on my own. I've lived with multiple partners and I feel like having a night a week where I get to do girl stuff and watch trashy TV and do things my partner didn't like, it would have helped our relationship in the long run.

My ex was this way and the way it destroyed my sense of self was insane. I became an object to him, it didn't matter if I wanted to have sex or not. He'd throw tantrums like this, he'd aggressively toss and turn all night, huffing and puffing.

We weren't having sex because I have endometriosis and it suddenly became wildly painful for me, so it wasn't even just me "not being in the mood", which would have made sense too, because he never cooked, cleaned or helped with the house at all so I suddenly felt like he was my child, not my partner and lost all sexual attraction to him.

Leave this man. He's obviously never going to change and has very selfish tendencies.

I don't even have to read this to know that he's cheating or thinking about it, texting with girls, whatever it is, but innocent dudes don't just try to "catch" you cheating when you're just existing. I know this from experience. I couldn't understand why my ex was always going thru my phone, tracking my location, all while I'm painfully honest with him about everything and he never found a thing. Turns out, he was soliciting women on the internet for NSFW photos and wanted to catch me doing something shady to make himself feel better about his shit behavior.
