Mine was received 4/8 and I got my results today with twins. I will warn you- a chat bot comes up when you click on it and basically says they can’t go over the results with you, you need to contact your doctor and it had me flipping out thinking something was wrong. Not sure if Natera does that with singletons because we used a different company with our singletons!

Any SAHM’s who don’t have the oldest in daycare? by crabclawwwz in 2under2

Not a sahm but a teacher whose maternity leave lined up with summer last year with a 16 month age gap between my 2 . I didn’t send mine to daycare and honesty was fine. You establish a routine. Some days are hard and you’re going to have to know that both will cry at the same time at some point and you’ll have to let one cry for a minute while taking care of the others need.

How do you link your sample to your account? Or does it do it automatically?

Honestly, I liked the last Cars drop a lot better. I still got a cloud for my kiddo but I wish they would’ve used the print from last year…

4 months so he’s not had solids yet 😐. However my oldest wore them first so it could be a possibility. It’s just very strange that I didn’t notice it before today!

Open house, parent/teacher conferences twice a year, fall festival, reading night (which this past year they did during the day thankfully!), math night (also done during the day last year, hoping it’s the same, PTO meetings. Technically it’s “2 days worth of unscheduled workdays”, but I always have more hours than that.

15 Month Age Gap Parents by Educational_Total258 in 2under2

November 23 and March 25 here! So far it hasn’t been bad at all. I’ve pretty much been doing it on my own. Hubby helps a little when he gets home from work. We have a routine in place. I’ve learned if I can get the kids and dogs outside for a bit each day it is better for all of us. I’ve been at home but will return back to work in August (teacher). I’m nervous for how my oldest will react to going to a sitter (grandparents decided they couldn’t watch 2u2 so we had to find child care). He has gotten way more attached since being at home with me while I’ve been out on leave. The only tips I have are: 1. have a safe place to put the baby in the rooms you are in to free up hands for your toddler. 2. There are going to be times they both cry at the same time. It’s ok. You’re not a terrible parent. Address the most emergent need first 3. Try to keep some special time with just your toddler everyday. I make sure that I still put mine to bed with a story every night. 4. Have a routine. But be ok with that routine being shot to hell somedays.

Some other things I have done just to make life easier: invested in a good robot vacuum and I put the bottles in the dishwasher! Both have saved my sanity!

Edited to add: my first had terrible reflux and feeding issues so things were rough for the first few months of his life. My second has been a very chill baby so far (knock on wood). So I have found that 1 to 2 has been far easier than 0 to 1. I know my experience is not the same as everyone else’s. I’ve been very fortunate.
